NLMK Group has launched NLMK.lab, a new internet platform, designed to attract partners for joint innovation projects. This platform offers a convenient channel for developers to reach out to end business customers, and hands-on peer-review of their project. The best solutions will be field-tested at NLMK Group's production sites around the world.

Stoilensky, part of NLMK Group, a global steel company, has began construction of a new stage (Stage 3) of its thickening unit, a hydrotechnical facility that dewaters the slurry*, and thickens the solids, before transporting them to dedicated tailing pits. The separated water is recycled and returned into the process.

Under the contract, Outotec experts will design, supply main equipment and automation systems, and provide consulting support during installation and commissioning of the equipment.
